As a graduate of Pace University with a major in Public Accounting , Sal Cascone entered the tax profession in 1974 with H&R Block as a tax preparer. He became an Enrolled Agent in 2001 and remained a seasonal senior tax preparer with H&R Block. Mr. Cascone retired from H&R Block in 2003. He gained additional expertise in rehabilitation tax credits for historical buildings and affordable housing. In his career, he has represented corporate clients, and individuals before the IRS and numerous state taxing authorities in the U.S. and Ontario, Ca. As an experienced auditor, Mr. Cascone is skilled in gathering necessary data and documentation for presentation to the IRS in a format that supports his client's position and helps ensure a favourable outcome. He currently is the Secretary in the New Jersey Society of Enrolled Agents.
